At Nativity Early Learning Center (NELC), we understand that busy families need dependable care and a place where their children feel happy, safe, and connected.
Our Before & Afterschool Program is designed exclusively for Nativity School students in kindergarten through fifth grade, providing a warm, engaging environment where children can start their mornings with friends and end their school day with fun, creativity, and meaningful experiences.
Whether they're enjoying a quiet morning, working on a creative project, playing outdoors, or spending time with friends, our goal is to make every child feel welcomed, supported, and excited to be part of the NELC community.Before School Care
A Great Start to Every School Day!
Morning Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 8:05 a.m.
Our morning program provides a relaxed and welcoming start to the school day. Children have the opportunity to enjoy breakfast, spend time with friends, and participate in quiet activities before heading to class. With caring staff and a comfortable environment, children can ease into their day feeling ready to learn and grow.Afterschool Adventures
The School Bell Rings... and the Fun Begins!
Afterschool Hours: 2:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
After a busy day of learning, children deserve time to unwind, recharge, and have fun! Our Afterschool Program offers a thoughtful balance of structured activities, creative exploration, active play, and opportunities for children to make their own choices.Our Afterschool Activities Include:
- Creative Arts & Crafts: Fun, guided projects that encourage imagination, creativity, and self-expression.
- Enrichment Activities: Engaging hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, build skills, and encourage teamwork.
- Homework Time: Designated time for students who need an opportunity to work on school assignments.
- Afternoon Snack: A chance to refuel, relax, and reconnect with friends.
- Free Choice Activities: Opportunities to enjoy games, building activities, reading, art, and imaginative play.
- Daily Outdoor Play: Fresh air, movement, and active fun with friends.
- Indoor Active Play: Access to Nativity School's large motor room and auditorium for group games and physical activities.

We've Got Your Family Covered!
We know that school calendars and work schedules don't always line up. That's why NELC offers additional care opportunities on designated days when Nativity School is not in session.
Important Information:- Advance registration is required at least one week before the scheduled school release day.
- An additional fee applies for these extended care days.
- Availability and scheduling information will be communicated to families in advance.

One of the wonderful benefits of NELC's location within the Nativity community is the connection to Nativity School's extracurricular opportunities.
Students enrolled in our Afterschool Program may also participate in a variety of school-sponsored activities, including:- Intramural sports and recreational activities
- Music lessons and enrichment opportunities
- Scouting programs
- Other extracurricular activities offered through Nativity School
Our close proximity to Nativity School helps families balance afterschool care with their children's interests and activities.
