The Week of the Young Child,

April 17^th-21^st 2023

 

Music Monday: Sing, dance, celebrate, and learn through music, children develop math, language, and literacy skills - All while having fun and being active!  Special Performer, Will Hale and The Tadpole Parade at 10am where kids are the rock stars!

 

Tasty Tuesday: Learn about the ways we can stay healthy, from buying healthy foods to fun exercises for the body and mind. Cooking together—reading recipes, measuring ingredients, etc.—is a fun and delicious way to connect simple math (arithmetic, fractions) with literacy skills.  Our Preschoolers will have a catered spaghetti lunch from Buca di Beppo in Steiner Hall.

Wacky Wednesday: To promote individuality and creative expression.  Wear mismatch clothes, socks, shoes and/or crazy hair!

Character Thursday: To promote dramatic and pretend play and using imagination.  Wear any character, from Disney to Superhero’s…use your imagination!

Teacher Appreciation Friday: Please make sure to stop in and say thank you to your child’s teacher for all of their hard work and efforts in the classroom. We will provide a special lunch and gifts for all of our teachers!
